This camera has terrific specs. It sports a large LCD screen. HD movie capture. However, there are deal breaking (return pending) cracks for me:
PROS:
- very good macro (closeup - 2-9 inches) shots with fine detail
- 720p HD capture is easy, good quality
- shake compensation (but it is digital)
CONS:
- Poor light/contrast on shots (shot look dull)
- Pictures at low ISOs are VERY noisy
- Zoomed shots are very noisy
- LCD has 10% taken up by menu (right side)
- Ergonomics awkward with grip
